Retirement

Due to extreme damage and loss of life, the name Paul was retired from the Atlantic naming lists in the spring of 2054. It was replaced with Polo for the 2059 Atlantic hurricane season, which was used, but not retired that year. Due to retirement, the name Paul will never again be used to name an Atlantic tropical cyclone.
